So since I'm always eating Hong Kong... always eating pork and deep fried things and carbs carbs carbs, I have decided to start writing down what I'm eating again. Prepared to be appalled. I decided to start writing today because so far, it's a good start. I guess I'm gonna be in a world of pain when I go back home. Except I probably won't and I'll be so accustomed to eating all the time that I'll eat all the time at home and not walk anymore and get even grosser. At least here I'm walking daily.
I've started playing Inselkampf, even though I previously shunned Adam for playing it. I got envious of the big community so I caved, dammit.
Food entry:
1. One bowl of dragon fruit (cubed) with strawberries (quartered)
2. A few toffee cashew cookies
that are delicious and super thin and caramel-y and omg
3. One 250mL tetrapak of taro flavored Vitasoy
4. Eight chocolate crush Pocky sticks
5. Sushi bar lunch
-salmon, yellowtail, and tuna sashimi
-one shrimp tempura piece with this delicious light japanese mayonnaise dressing
-deep fried squid pieces [uh, about a million of them] with the same dressing
-sea eel with rice
-one warship style sweet shrimp sushi
-half a piece of deep fried salmon skin
-green tea
6. Northern Chinese dinner
-peking duck in wrappers, deep fried sweet and sour fish, vegetarian noodles, shrimp, etc...

So, I have four exams to cover, not much time in between to study. I never paid attention in class so I don't have knowledge to wing things on, and yet I keep watching the Office and screwing around online. Huh. I intrigue myself.
As for the food entries, I forget what I ate recently. But I've been progressing rather well with the no bad foods, that is until my mother made me jump over an offer of McDonald's, then New York Fries, and eventually some KFC with an ice cold beer... So I cracked, but alas. No beer, it turned out, we accidentally drove past the Beer Store, and I felt sick after the KFC. Then the next night I had some Lay's Salt and Vinegar chips. Yikes. I am currently starving.

My first exam is tomorrow. I'm starting to feel ill about it. What I'm really worried about is... no, I'm just worried about them all. I've lost a few pounds though and don't feel as bloated lately. No way! Looking at my past food lists I think I've practiced quite a bit of self restraint. Even with that can of cream soup in my cupboard...
Yesterday's food entry:
1. One green apple
2. Two chicken breasts and one drumstick - Tandoori style with chili sauce
3. Green peas
4. Stir fried rice with egg
5. Strawberries and mango fruit salad
6. A few bites of coconut cream pie
7. Purple rice and pumpkin flavored soup ball desserts

That's the one benefit if I had stayed at home instead of residence: a gym. But I want to enjoy freedom while it lasts.

5. One Michelina's Penne Arabiatta with Italian Sausage (frozen processed food--bad.)

2. One mango banana smoothie
3. One Grande Refresh Tea from Starbucks
4. One bottle of Nestea Lemon Green Tea

So... I was almost disastrously locked out of my room today. Apparently it's because I had paper carrier bags hanging from the inside but that -totally- wasn't a problem before. Anyways, we spent like five minutes swiping my stupid card, then tried taping it with scotch tape cause that works on credit cards etc... Let me say, it was a bitch getting that scotch tape off. Then my don tried his master key, didn't work, called up the porter, her master key didn't work either and the PHYSICAL key didn't work either.
I seriously thought that I was going to have to sleep in the common room. But then my don came back and figured out a special way to open it. He wouldn't tell me what it was, I assume it was stupid and embarrassing. But he was really nice about it, so was the porter. And so after dragging my res phone across the room trying to test to see if the lock was fixed, it was great success!
Today's food entry:
1. One glass Allen's Apple Juice (Two thimbles according to Adam)
2. Two slices of smoked ham with blueberry sauce
3. Three mini bagels with whipped cream cheese and smoked salmon
4. Pieces of pineapple
5. Some (like one or three of each) buttoncap mushrooms and green beans
6. Two coconut soy milk tetrapaks
7. Home made leek, carrot, potato soup
8. One coffee with one teaspoon sugar and a splash of cream
9. Candy, go figure

I was totally planning on writing a big rant about the shitty amateur restaurant I went to tonight. But now I have eaten candy and am already having a sugar crash so... I'll just say that they couldn't make things on the menu because it was "too difficult."

I really do suck with the liquids. I can't help it. Why did Adam give me so much candy? This is bad for me. It's not shitty candy either like Laura Secord Fruit Jewel things, it's Sweet Tarts and Laffy Taffy and Nerds and a Chocolate Orange. I whacked it but haven't eaten yet. I just kind of want to keep hitting it against the wall.
Again, I didn't work out. I figure I have two important essays due, no time. But I suck. I think I'll be saying I suck for the next three weeks everyday.

2. Half a small bagel with whipped cream cheese and smoked salmon
3. Candy
4. A Northern Chinese dinner with two bowls of white rice
5. Two brownies
6. One cup linden flower/green tea
7. Half a cup of water
I really do suck with the liquids. I can't help it. Why did Adam give me so much candy? This is bad for me. It's not shitty candy either like Laura Secord Fruit Jewel things, it's Sweet Tarts and Laffy Taffy and Nerds and a Chocolate Orange. I whacked it but haven't eaten yet. I just kind of want to keep hitting it against the wall.
Again, I didn't work out. I figure I have two important essays due, no time. But I suck. I think I'll be saying I suck for the next three weeks everyday.

Wow, summer's so close and yet so far

I suck. Today I didn't work out and I ate junk. Kill me now.
Today's food entry:
1. One bowl of Grain Shoppe cereal with 2% milk
2. One coconut soy milk tetrapack
3. A few Jones' Soda Green Apple Carbonated Candies
4. One McDonald's Big Mac meal with a diet coke. I was pissed, poor and hungry at the time. I should have been stronger!
5. One dried apricot
6. Chicken, broccoli, tofu, pork/spinach broth soup, and white fish
I hate people. I wish I could go to a really nice spa.

1. Gnocchi with a tomato/cream/basil sauce
2. One small lemon Perrier
3. One Cosmopolitan
4. One Grande Black Iced Tea from Starbucks
5. Turkey Chili
6. 2 Hamburger Buns
7. One Boston lettuce leaf salad with cucumbers and yellow tomatoes, oil dressing
8. One square of butter cream vanilla cake
9. One glass of milk
10. SO. MUCH. FREAKING. CANDY.
Edit:

-Crackers and cheddar cheese (I caved, dammit! I need a midnight snack.)
By the way, I clearly don't drink enough liquids still, I'm going to try to fit in a cup of tea before I go to bed. And I didn't work out today. D00Mzors.

Let's see if this works

1. I need a new livejournal layout
2. I'm trying to lose weight for Hong Kong because:
a) exercising is healthy and I never do it
b) eating lots of processed foods etc. can't be good for moi
SO I'm going to try writing down what I eat here so I can see if I'm being a pig or not
Thus... today I had
1. Fat-free blueberry yogurt
2. One cup linden flower/green tea
3. Blue corn chips with tostitos mild salsa
4. Garlic basil lamb chops with risotto and mushrooms
5. One cup water
6. One fiji apple and three slices of cheddar
Workout
-Ran 10 minutes
-Walked 5 minutes
-3 sets of 50 crunches, 50 leg raises, and 50 bicycle twists
...DEFINITELY tempted to eat more. I need to drink more fluids, that so much is clear. Let's see how far this goes, haha.
