So many pretty things, though lol, some of it was really outrageously priced imo. I can understand trying to make money, but there was this one small painting on this block of wood that I liked. But then I realized it was like, $200. ROFL NO.
BUT! BUT! I did get t-shirt (for only $20 too!) and I love it. I also got a drink. In a coconut. Shaped like a monkey.
Fuck. Yes.
There was also something else I wanted to get, but I'm not saying what it was because I think I might order it from the girl's etsy site for Christmas for
Wao, I am full of shrimp and ice cream. +_+

Um, it's not like they didn't want to use the original voice actors, it's that they couldn't get an agreement on salaries. And the fact that it's believed that the cast members were asking 75,000 an episode (which, is more than I make in a year. Hell, it's probably more than my mom makes in a year), that I can't really blame them.
Yes, it's true that it has a strong fan following, but let's face it: this is a show that hasn't done well in syndication. DVD sales and otherwise, yes, but still, making new episodes is a risky move. And you wonder why they balk at that salary?
Don't get me wrong, I believe they are all truly talented actors and deserve to be paid, but...I don't think people should just get upset at the production company when there's two sides here.

I swear I'm going to have a heart attack sometime this month.
In other news, my aerial apparatus has finally found it's way into my loving arms. Damn you Frenchies!
But because I'm illiterate I now have 4 times as much aerial rope as I need and a type of fire wick I cannot find any use for.
The anchor point for the hoop isn't going to be installed before I leave. Which sucks. But when it has been, I'll also be able to suspend in the comfort of my own domain. Which makes up for the disappointment.
In the mean time I'm playing in the back yard, ghetto style, lyra in a tree.
Oh, and the toe hang is my bitch.
Evidence of all of this later.
( This phone crap is all I have so far )
Overall: busy, but with a lot of things to be excited about.
If only I could remember how to feel so...

My friend and I are starting a comic project.. He came up with the idea for the story (although we are working out the details together) and I'm handling the art. I am so excited!! This is giving me a lot of motivation to draw so I'm trying to hang onto this feeling.
On another note, my stomach has been hurting a lot lately... I think I know why but... D:

It's been a little over a month since I last updated and people seem to be defriending me at an alarming rate. I guess one needs to be social if they want to keep their friends, right? :P I'm totally not good at being social. I really need to enter the land of livejournal again, especially since
WHO HAS SEEN HBP?!?! PLEASE TO TELL ME ALL ABOUT IT FOR I CANNOT SEE IT UNTIL TOMORROW NIGHT. This will be the first time I miss an HP movie on opening night and I am sad.

Had it not been for the fact that I've got a ridiculous amount of stuff to tie up before I leave here, now would have been perfect.
Since I'm demeted I have to sum this up in writing all in one place or I WILL forget something crucial:
18 July - Flight departing from Stockholm, 13:15 (local time)
18 July - Flight arriving in Los Angeles, 20:40 (local time)
22 July - Road trip from LA to Las Vegas (4h drive), arriving in Vegas in the afternoon (local time)
25 July - Road trip from Las Vegas to San Francisco, probably with numerous stops along the road and hopefully an over night at some Norman Bates-esque motel
26 July - Arriving in San Francisco, early afternoon (local time)
30 July - Flight departing from San Francisco to Okinawa, 01:30 (local time)
31 July - Flight arriving at Okinawa, 10:10 (local time), continuing from Naha to various islands by boat
6 August - Flight from Okinawa to Osaka, Shinkansen from Osaka to Kyoto
8 August - Shinkansen from Kyoto to Tokyo
16 August - Flight to Stockholm, arrival 22:30 (local time)
If there's anything in any of the cities I really, really should fit into my schedule, do tell before I've stuffed every waken minute with plans.
It has already begun.

instead i will spend my weekend on a beach in quebec, surrounded by blasting techno, sitting on the beach with a warm beer in one hand and a biology textbook in the other.
i told jason, i wouldn't go. the conversation started with me saying i need space from him, for the next month or two. and i do. time spent with him is time spent in mourning. the conversation ended with me agreeing to go to teknival. this time last year, i thought he was healing. now i know better.
i met him two years ago monday. sometimes i think i haven't seen him since.
my third teknival. two years since i realized there is a whole community of people like me, that there's a place where we are the rule. should be one hell of an anniversary.

Your result for Roleplayer Test!...
The Soap Opera Star
Plotful, Character-Oriented, Sexual
You're the Soap Opera Star, the center of a massive web of characters -- and more importantly, character relationships. You roleplay mainly for character dynamics, and romantic character dynamics at that: if you didn't start playing with a ship in mind, you're definitely shipping now that you're playing. But it's not random relationships that appeal to you. You like your plots! It's just that most or all of them are personal in nature and revolve around either getting characters together or developing relationships once they've formed. But if given a plot like that, you're a determined, reliable RP partner. However, of all roleplayers, you're likely to be the ones most emotionally attached to your character and to fall in RP-love with the players of your ships.
Take Roleplayer Test! at HelloQuizzy
Ffff, wat? I agree with some of them, but the first line threw me off.
