Ate some red meat. Don't normally eat that much. Especially not a fatty, charcoal-y steak.

Have felt like puking for... five hours. Yuck. Tea not helping like it normally does.

Proof that Windows is a piece of crap

I had just cleaned my desktop and windows computer. It was annoying to do, but finally I was only left with "My Computer," "Recycle Bin," and "Nightlife" on my desktop. What is "Nightlife?" It's the Sims 2 Nightlife expansion pack (which is crappy save for the cars), but since stupid Alcohol 52% needs it exactly where it is to run, I can't move it. I'm sure I could reconfigure everything, but I cannot be bothered.

My main point is that when I installed the new AIM program, it VOMITED out five more icons onto my beautifully empty desktop. Oh my god. Yes, I'm aware they are meant for deleting. But is that necessary? FIVE?

Laziness

For my new work out plan, I'm doing a four split program which means I focus on something different everyday. Uh... today is my cardio day. I am so tired. I do not want to do it. And you know what's sad? A main reason is because I'm seeing "Harry Potter" at 3ish. I just don't want to be asleep for it. Not that I'm keen to catch every riveting moment, but I just don't want to travel and have it all be a waste.

I woke up with a bloody nose today. Lame. I'm proud to say though that yesterday I ate surprisingly healthy and low-fat! Save for the mountain of peanut butter I put on my apple slices and the blue corn chips I had in the morning... but sincerely, other than those two things, I was very good.

Now I can't talk anymore

I literally have a small suitcase full of Batman comics now. I am... troubled.

Infernal Affairs, the movie that the Departed was adapted from? My father is friends with one of the two script writers. Ugh.

Walking around so much in Hong Kong has really made me lose weight. Unfortunately, I think I regained all that weight lost tonight when I had Peking duck. It wasn't even good Peking duck. It was basically fat strips. But the reason I kept eating was because I was the one who ordered/wanted Peking duck, and because I've been conditioned by my mother to finish all the food and not to waste things, despite the detrimental effects on my body. Plus, at the fireworks show (which commemorated the 10th anniversary of the Hong Kong handover from Britain to China), which was really cool and beautiful, I ate a million Cajun spice French fries, plus I drank my bellini a little too quickly, and so now I am awake and nauseous.

You know what kills me? Toronto doesn't sell Vitamin Water, yet Hong Kong does. Ugh. My mini fridge is full of vitamin water right now. I've noticed, lately all my LJ friends are making cute little picture posts. I am much too lazy for that.

You both assume that she'll be late

In Hong Kong still. Tried to watch the Veronica Mars finale while Isaac, my younger cousin, attacked his mini guitar and screamed "Country Road." It sounds cute. But it is not because the instant we finished the show he was finished as well.

I really do like Mandy Moore. I think she's very pretty, and I love that she's not all boobless and anorexic like everyone is now. I swear, all the boobless people just got really angry and decided to change things. Oh well. P.S. Jessica Alba, who claims to be curvy, is not. She just has boobs. She is pretty (a little unremarkable as of late) but she is not curvy. Anyways, despite Adam's eyerolling, I like Mandy's new album. She collaborated with Rachael Yamagata and a bunch of other nice people. Her first video was a little boring though. Interesting, but there was nothing else to sort of ease the burden of seeing the camera zooming up the giant Mandy pyramid. Plus, the first single, "Extraordinary" is my least favorite song on the album. By far. Hopefully she'll be allowed to release a second song.

Even though I can't think of anywhere else to live in, other than Toronto, I vomit at the idea of living there. I guess everywhere is filled with ignorant assholes, but the thing about Toronto, is that I KNOW there are assholes there. I guess that's why I have a reputation of keeping people out unless I decide otherwise. And the thing about Toronto is that they just think about their clean little parks, and their little schools, and the "cultural" downtown. But they completely disregard so many other parts of it, like the east and west ends, which are full of problems, but that's not their Toronto. I know every place has their problems, but I cannot accept Toronto because my life can't be confined to 5 subway stops. Maybe because I just can't function in any place other than my own little world. I know a lot of people would disagree with me, about my thoughts, and I've given up explaining things a long time ago. People don't understand why I'm late, why I can be so cold one minute and so forgiving the next, why I smile easily at them when I'm thinking about my problems. I laugh and tease a lot of people, and act sarcastic with them, or very distant, and I don't write thoughtful livejournal entries, and so... then... who knows me? More songs know me than people.

If only I had the will

So since I'm always eating Hong Kong... always eating pork and deep fried things and carbs carbs carbs, I have decided to start writing down what I'm eating again. Prepared to be appalled. I decided to start writing today because so far, it's a good start. I guess I'm gonna be in a world of pain when I go back home. Except I probably won't and I'll be so accustomed to eating all the time that I'll eat all the time at home and not walk anymore and get even grosser. At least here I'm walking daily.

I've started playing Inselkampf, even though I previously shunned Adam for playing it. I got envious of the big community so I caved, dammit.

Food entry:
1. One bowl of dragon fruit (cubed) with strawberries (quartered)
2. A few toffee cashew cookies
that are delicious and super thin and caramel-y and omg
3. One 250mL tetrapak of taro flavored Vitasoy
4. Eight chocolate crush Pocky sticks
5. Sushi bar lunch
    -salmon, yellowtail, and tuna sashimi
-one shrimp tempura piece with this delicious light japanese mayonnaise dressing
-deep fried squid pieces [uh, about a million of them] with the same dressing
    -sea eel with rice
-one warship style sweet shrimp sushi
-half a piece of deep fried salmon skin
    -green tea
6. Northern Chinese dinner
-peking duck in wrappers, deep fried sweet and sour fish, vegetarian noodles, shrimp, etc...

I got it in black of course, it's a gift from my father for my birthday. Since my other camera can't be used due to a lost battery charger...

This camera came with a screen protector and some other random freebies... as well as Neutrogena Face Scrub for Men? I won't complain though. I am super excited. It's got a very classic look and a case! My old camera was definitely beat up like mad.

No impending doom can move me

So, I have four exams to cover, not much time in between to study. I never paid attention in class so I don't have knowledge to wing things on, and yet I keep watching the Office and screwing around online. Huh. I intrigue myself.

As for the food entries, I forget what I ate recently. But I've been progressing rather well with the no bad foods, that is until my mother made me jump over an offer of McDonald's, then New York Fries, and eventually some KFC with an ice cold beer... So I cracked, but alas. No beer, it turned out, we accidentally drove past the Beer Store, and I felt sick after the KFC. Then the next night I had some Lay's Salt and Vinegar chips. Yikes. I am currently starving.

I'm starting to feel ill about it. What I'm really worried about is... no, I'm just worried about them all. I've lost a few pounds though and don't feel as bloated lately. No way! Looking at my past food lists I think I've practiced quite a bit of self restraint. Even with that can of cream soup in my cupboard...

Yesterday's food entry:
1. One green apple
2. Two chicken breasts and one drumstick - Tandoori style with chili sauce
3. Green peas
4. Stir fried rice with egg
5. Strawberries and mango fruit salad
6. A few bites of coconut cream pie
7. Purple rice and pumpkin flavored soup ball desserts
8. Blue corn chips with Tostitos mild salsa

Today's food entry:
1. One over easy egg with half a slice of toast and chili sauce
2. Two green apples
3. Half a slice of coconut cream pie
4. Chinese dinner (noodles, deep fried crab claw, and veggies)

Nor is one's exercise regime going as planned. But how can someone diet with exams coming? That's the one benefit if I had stayed at home instead of residence: a gym. But I want to enjoy freedom while it lasts.

Only got 3 hours of sleep last night

So tired. But all my essays are done for the year! Thank God. I went to bed at 5AM last night and woke up again at 8AM to finish my essay. So unfair, the other tutorials got to hand it in five hours later than us! Anyways, the day before yesterday I ate extra things, so here's an additional food entry for 2 days ago:

1. 3/4 of a snack bag of Doritos Tandoori Flavor
2. One cup of Mr. Noodle Vegetable Flavor Soup
3. A few blue Sour Straws
4. 2-3 squares of Ritter Sport Praline and Yogurt Chocolate
5. Half a bottle of Jones Soda - Cane Sugar - Fufu Berry Flavor
6. One bottle of Green Apple Green Tea

Yesterday's food entry:
1. One bottle of Green Apple Green Tea
2. One small cup of Sprite
3. One herb baked chicken thigh
4. Mashed potatoes with gravy
5. Steamed carrots and mixed string beans
6. One small serving of poutine
7. 1/4 of a snack bag of Doritos Tandoori Flavor
8. One bottle of Sobe Lizzard Lightening Peach Mango drink with Guarana and Wolfberry
9. 2 Squares of Ritter Sport Chocolate

Today's food entry:
1. One Grande cup of mild coffee from Starbucks
2. Half a bottle of Green Apple Green Tea
3. Half a bowl of Chicken Rice Soup with Curry and Coconut Milk Broth
4. Chicken breast, lettuce, and avocado with mayo on a bun
^ the above three at the Holt Renfrew Cafe
5. Three servings of rice dim sum with hot sauce
6. One cup of mango juice

N'way

So... I was almost disastrously locked out of my room today. Apparently it's because I had paper carrier bags hanging from the inside but that -totally- wasn't a problem before. Anyways, we spent like five minutes swiping my stupid card, then tried taping it with scotch tape cause that works on credit cards etc... Let me say, it was a bitch getting that scotch tape off. Then my don tried his master key, didn't work, called up the porter, her master key didn't work either and the PHYSICAL key didn't work either.

I seriously thought that I was going to have to sleep in the common room. But then my don came back and figured out a special way to open it. He wouldn't tell me what it was, I assume it was stupid and embarrassing. But he was really nice about it, so was the porter. And so after dragging my res phone across the room trying to test to see if the lock was fixed, it was great success!

Today's food entry:

1. One glass Allen's Apple Juice (Two thimbles according to Adam)
2. Two slices of smoked ham with blueberry sauce
3. Three mini bagels with whipped cream cheese and smoked salmon
4. Pieces of pineapple
5. Some (like one or three of each) buttoncap mushrooms and green beans
6. Two coconut soy milk tetrapaks
7. Home made leek, carrot, potato soup
8. One coffee with one teaspoon sugar and a splash of cream
9. Candy, go figure

I don't think it's necessary to mention but I'll state it anyways for future reference: I did not work out today. Big surprise.

Sugar sugar

I was totally planning on writing a big rant about the shitty amateur restaurant I went to tonight. But now I have eaten candy and am already having a sugar crash so... I'll just say that they couldn't make things on the menu because it was "too difficult."

Today's food entry:

1. One bowl of oatmeal (Anne, haha for you.)
2. Half a small bagel with whipped cream cheese and smoked salmon
3. Candy
4. A Northern Chinese dinner with two bowls of white rice
5. Two brownies
6. One cup linden flower/green tea
7. Half a cup of water

I really do suck with the liquids. I can't help it. Why did Adam give me so much candy? This is bad for me. It's not shitty candy either like Laura Secord Fruit Jewel things, it's Sweet Tarts and Laffy Taffy and Nerds and a Chocolate Orange. I whacked it but haven't eaten yet. I just kind of want to keep hitting it against the wall.

Again, I didn't work out. I figure I have two important essays due, no time. But I suck. I think I'll be saying I suck for the next three weeks everyday.

I suck. Today I didn't work out and I ate junk. Kill me now.

Today's food entry:

1. One bowl of Grain Shoppe cereal with 2% milk
2. One coconut soy milk tetrapack
3. A few Jones' Soda Green Apple Carbonated Candies
4. One McDonald's Big Mac meal with a diet coke. I was pissed, poor and hungry at the time. I should have been stronger!
5. One dried apricot
6. Chicken, broccoli, tofu, pork/spinach broth soup, and white fish

I hate people. I wish I could go to a really nice spa.
